This hands-on role is essential for ensuring we meet our commitments to Health and Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies that align with our ERP capabilities, maintaining optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor store staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging effective performance.
Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping of materials and finished products, ensuring accurate inventory records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyse inventory and logistics data, developing metrics to enhance operations and drive improvements.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
What You Bring:
Experience: 5+ years in supply chain operations, logistics, or a related field, with a strong background in ERP systems (preferably SAP).
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
Attention to Detail: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of stock control and accuracy.
Analytical Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Tech Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Access, with knowledge of supply chain best practices.
