Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to lead and manage night-shift warehouse and logistics operations within the APL Direct business.
This role operates Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 12:00am.
Key Requirements
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and transport operations
Ability to work night shift and assist with driving when required
Computer literate
F Endorsed licence & current Forklift Operator Certificate
Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
Key Responsibilities
Oversee night-shift warehouse operations and staff
Manage leave, performance, coaching, and training of direct reports
Ensure all products are loaded, accounted for, and ready for despatch each night
Manage inwards and outwards goods, ensuring accurate paperwork and labelling
Liaise with Transport Coordinators and group customers on daily despatch priorities
Coordinate warehouse layout, picking, stock control, and storage
Oversee de-vanning of containers and ensure MPI compliance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site
Resolve discrepancies to meet customer expectations
