Job Description

We are searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at APL as the Accounts Assistant

Desired Skills and Experience

You will be responsible for

  • Coordinate, process and input accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Prepare monthly creditor payments and reconcile creditor statements
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, requesting credits and recharges as required
  • Identify and input fixed assets
  • Indexing, filing and sorting of invoices and accounting documentation
  • Other general accounts duties

 

The successful candidate will also have the following

  • A strong attention to detail, organisational skills and commitment to quality
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and effectively manage staff
  • A proven history of reliability
  • Knows what it takes to contribute to a productive and efficient team
  • Accurate and fast keyboard, data entry and word processing skills

Please note, this is a 42-hour per week, in-office, position working Monday to Friday, with the role available for immediate start
