Job Description

Are you an organised, detail-focused finance professional who thrives on keeping the numbers accurate and the relationships smooth? We're looking for an Accounts & Administration Assistant to take ownership of our accounts payable and receivable processing, reporting to the Accounts Supervisor.

About the Role

This role delivers accurate and timely accounts payable and accounts receivable administration as its primary focus, with flexible general administrative support across the wider Finance & ERP function — including master data and procurement administration — as directed and as business needs require.

What You'll Do

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and prepare payment runs in line with agreed payment terms and approval processes.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and resolve invoice queries with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Monitor the debtor aging report and follow up overdue accounts with customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve customer account queries, maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
  • Maintain and update supplier and item master data in our ERP system, with basic accuracy checks and audit-ready change records.
  • Support procurement and supplier administration — onboarding documentation, outstanding purchase order follow-up, and delivery confirmations.
  • Provide flexible general administrative support across the Finance & ERP function and assist with ad hoc month-end tasks as directed.

Why Join Us

You'll play a key role keeping our accounts payable and receivable processes accurate and our suppliers and customers well looked after, with variety across master data, procurement support, and finance operations. It's a great opportunity to build broad finance and ERP experience within a growing manufacturing business.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information.
  • Great time management to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Initiative and a “can do” attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using an ERP system is an advantage, though not essential.
